BELLA VISTA WRESTLING

I won't post too much on here, but we had a large group of wrestlers who committed to the spring, summer, and fall offseason programs.  We had a team camp at Ponderosa in June where we had dual meets with teams from Oregon, Colorado, Nevada, Sacramento, and San Diego.  We also had individual wrestlers attend numerous camps.  We are returning a lot of wrestlers and will have a lot of new faces around as well.  Our varsity boys schedule is a lot tougher this season because that is what this group needs and where and how they need to be challenged.  This will be a tough, but fruitful, schedule.  We also have a very strong freshman class and we will have numerous freshman who will be varsity starters this year.   Lastly, we have a returning state qualifier in Elias Castaneda, who went 3-2 at the state tournament last season as a sophomore.  Elias has not stopped training and he has improved tremendously this offseason.   I'm looking forward to the season.
