2026/2027 Match Schedule

Preason Schedule:

Fall 2026: Working on tournaments right now, but we will be at 5 big tournaments this fall.   We are going to be at Gilroy, Las Vegas, North Carolina, Fresno, and local SAWA tournaments for preseason tournaments.  There will be coaches at all of these tournaments.  ​

• All League duals have weigh-ins at 4:30 pm, JV starts at 5:30 pm, and Varsity begins shortly after JV ends.

• League duals are listed in bold, as well as other important events. 

• Tournament start times will be posted each week on the Parents - Weekly Team Update

• This schedule can change at any moment so please stay flexible.  Things happen.

Regular Season Schedule:

November 2:       First day of practice

November 13:     Parent Meeting 

• 6:00 -8:00 pm starting in the Atrium I will speak to you in the Atrium about the season, hotels, gear, and how you can help with our 2 fundraisers.

• When I'm done, we will all walk to the Small Gym and you will watch our team go through a 45 minute, modified wrestling practice.

November _:        Weight Management Test. 

• This only needs to be done 1 time a year, so if your wrestler did this on the first test then they do not need to do this a 2nd time this season.  This is mandatory for every wrestling in the country.  It is $10 cash for each wrestler and will start after school and end around 5 ish (kids go to practice after they are done).   An official with the section comes in and weighs in each kid, takes their height, weight, and body fat and then puts it into an algorithm that shows how much weight they are allowed to lose - safely - per week.  They cannot compete below the allowed weight, each week

November 20:       Scrimmage at Oakdale High School.  2 pm - 6 pm.  We are brining 10 kids.   

November 24:       Varsity Scrimmage at Whitney HS.   Weigh ins 3 pm, wrestling 4 pm.   All girls and Varsity Boys

November 28:       Rocklin Dual Tournament @ Rocklin High School (Varsity with some extras)

November 28:       Rio Linda JV Tournament (JV boys) (JV boys and the girls team will be at the same high school, together)

November 28:       Rio Linda Girls Tournament (girls) (JV boys and girls team will be at the same high school, together)

December 4/5:     Vacaville Duals  (Varsity boys with a couple extras)

December 5:         Casa Roble Tournament (Girls and JV boys)

December 9*:       Rio Americano at BV Dual Meet (Everyone)
December 12:       Elk Grove Tournament  (Varsity boys)

December 12:       Del Campo HS Tournament at Del Campo HS (Girls)

December 18/19:  West Coast TOC in Roseville (girls)

December 19:           Whitney Tournament (JV Team)

December 19:           Casa Roble Tournament (2nd Varsity)

December 18/19:     Zinkin Tournament @ Buchanan HS in Fresno (1st Varsity - full team)

January 2:             Quarry Queen Tournament (Whitney High School in Rocklin - Girls)

January 3:              Optional - not official - Stanford Dual against Iowa State.  I'm planning on attending with as many wrestlers as possible to                                      go watch some D1 wrestling in person.   I don't know the time of the dual yet.   

January 5*:             Inderkum at Bella Vista Dual Meet (Everyone)

January 8/9:         Joe Rios Memorial Tournament @ Chico High School (Varsity and some extras)​

• Going up on Friday morning (weight ins at 9 am) and coming home on Saturday night

January 8/9          Doc Buchanan (Clovis High School) This is a National Level tournament and wrestlers must be ranked in state to be invited

January 14:         Bella Vista at Woodcreek Dual Meet (Everybody)

Jan.15, 16, 17   Bella Vista Winter Classic (EVERYBODY - FRIDAY NIGHT, SATURDAY, AND SUNDAY)

January 21*:         Vista Del Lago at Bella Vista (Everyone - Senior Night)

January 22/23     Mid-Cals wrestling Tournament (Gilroy High School) (Bringing Boys and Girls)

• Staying at the Hampton Inn Morgan Hill (16115 Condit Road, Morgan Hill CA 95037)

• Boys team is staying Thursday night - Saturday (weight ins 7 am both days and wrestling begins 9 am both days)

• Girls are staying Friday night (weigh ins are 1 pm on Friday and wrestling begins at 3 pm, so they will leave Friday morning.  weigh ins 7 am on Saturday morning for the girls and wrestling begins at 9 am)

February 4:      Carnegie vs. Barrett Dual @ Carnegie.  Meet at BV and jog over to Carnegie as a team to watch this dual

February 6:          CVC League Championships (Inderkum High School)

February 12/13:   Girls Regional Championships (Foothill High School - but they might change it if they find a better facility)

February 13:         Boys Division II Section Championships (Vista Del Lago High School).  ​

February 19/20:   Masters Championships - Boys and Girls (Stockton Arena) (hotel on Thursday night and Friday night)
