**We are approved to have our club and fliers will be distributed to elementary schools next week: Hi everybody, our district finally approved our youth practices, which means I can finally distribute our flier to the local elementary schools.  I got all of the class distribution lists and FedEx is making copies for me this weekend.  i will pick up the fliers on Monday and bring them to the following elementary schools on Tuesday, October 19th: Pershing, Twin Lakes, Northridge, and Orangevale Open.  Legette does not do paper so they will post the flier on their website.  If your child does not attend these schools, or they don't bring the flier home, please email me @ Garrett.Lane@sanjuan.edu and I will send you a flier.

**Sign ups will be on Tuesday, October 26th from 6-7:30 pm at Bella Vista high school next to the main gym and pool.  If you can't make it that evening just email me (Garrett.Lane@sanjuan.edu) and we will still be able to make it work.

**First Day of Practice is Tuesday, November 9th, 2021.  Each wrestler should bring clothes to exercise in (tumbling, wrestling, running, etc.), wrestling shoes are encouraged but they can wrestle in their socks until they get a pair, water, and preferably some sort of towel to wipe the sweat off their face.  Parents are invited to watch practice but they must wear a mask while inside.  The wrestlers will not wear masks while wrestling for various reasons - mainly because it's a safety issue (getting wrapped around the throat and causing choking, getting fingers caught in it, ripped, pulled, etc.).  Secondly, we will be working very hard and masks will constrict each person's ability to breathe, which becomes dangerous.  If a wrestler wants to wear a mask that is 100% ok.  The district is not mandating masks for high school or middle school wrestling because of the issues I mentioned above and I plan to follow their guidelines.

**Here is a copy of the flier I am distributing to 5 local elementary schools:
