Local Alternative Camps

This following are local wrestling camps that would be more affordable because you don't need to pay dorm fees, etc. You can see Coach Lee for copies of the applications to these camps.

1) UC Davis Camp at Vista Del Lago HS (Folsom): June 1 - 3. Cost: $195. Hours: 10:30am - 3:30pm each day. To sign up call (530)979-1712.

2) University of Iowa Wrestling Camp at Del Oro High School. June 14 - 17. Camp cost is $190, which includes a $100 deposit due by May 1. If you just show up the cost goes up to $225 at the door. Make checks out to: "American Elite Wrestling Camps" and mail to Iowa Elite Wrestling Camps 5065 San Francisco St. #B,  Rocklin, Ca 95677. For more information email gabe@americanelitewrestling.com.

3) Camp of Champions at Rocklin HS. July 16 - 26. Eleven day camp - 6 days of intensive, followed by 5 days of competition and technique. Great camp here - learn how to train, learn technique, then practice what you've learned in real competition. $875. Not cheap, but if your wrestler is very determined to make a big jump and get in the state tournament, this would be a way to do it. Email: sales@campofchamps.net.

4) UC Davis Wrestling Night School. Spring Session (May 4 - May 20) and Fall Session (Oct. 20 - Nov. 5) Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 - 8pm in the UC Davis wrestling room. $150 cost for 12 hrs. of total instruction. Contact Kevin Stanley (530) 574-1741 for more information or to sign up.
